DC/DC CHARGERS

The DPIC product line is designed with flexibility and customization.  This line is well suited for applications requiring DC input including alternative energy power sources such as fuel cell, solar and wind power, onboard vehicle applications, and other systems requiring DC input. The standard DC input/output range is 10VDC-500VDC  and we allso offer an extended range on a custom basis. The series is a DC/DC battery charger line designed pursuant to customization and flexibility. Unlike many competitive products, the  input and output are transformer isolated, eliminating ground loops and allowing battery charging at potentials not referenced to any particular point.   Our new high efficiency and high reliability DC input brick power bricks can implement diverse requirements with agency certification for high end industrial and military applications.   Customized charge algorithms, current settings, temperature compensation and control/monitoring signals and communication are available. The power range is  from 50 W up to tens of kilowatts and products can be ordered with specific options for communications and displays.  Mechanical configurations include fan cooled and waterproof configurations.  Please reference our power systems and bells and whistles section for more information.

POWER SYSTEMS

Our new power systems offering is the most expansive in the industry. We have the capability to quickly and easily integrate a power system with both AC and DC inputs or multiple inputs  for redundant systems along with battery backup,  power factor modules,  power supplies and battery chargers.   In addition we can outfit the power system with advanced communication controls and monitoring. Our new modules comprise the power system are extremely high efficiency,  high power density,  rugged and reliable. Chargetek has the ability to integrate and produce various systems in an extremely short time using this modular approach. The resulting power system is extremely cost-effective and compact. Agency certification is simplified and cost are reduced with this modular approach along with drastically reducing time-to-market. Systems can be configured for several cooling options such as fan cooled, baseplate, waterproof and convection.  In the power system section, you will have the ability to define  your power system via a block diagram. You can send this to us upon completion for our review ad quotation.

MULTI BANK CHARGERS

Our multibank series is one of innovative and versatile in the industry. It is available is available in both AC or DC inputs and configurable for various battery chemistries and power levels.  Control and monitoring is implemented with a color LCD display that has the capability for factory programs algorithms or user program algorithms for various battery chemistries battery capacities. The series also as a communication interface for external monitoring control either locally or remotely. Customized charge algorithms, current settings, temperature compensation and control/monitoring signals and communication are user programmable. The power range of individual banks is from 50 watts to 500 watts each module is programmable independently.  The unit is completely sealed with external and replaceable fans.  This series can easily satisfy multibank requirements for shop charging, fleet charging, emergency and  maintanance depots and many other requirements.  Each bank is electrically isolated and be programmed for lead based, flooded, AGM, SLA  and also Lithium Ion and LiPo chemsitries.  The mechanical configuration allows for table top or wall mount operation.  Please reference our power systems and bells and whistles section for more information.

BELLS AND WHISTLES

Chargetek offers one of the most expensive communication suites in the industry. Many of our products can be fitted with discrete signals such as relays and opto's,  or more advanced control and monitoring  methods such as RS-485, RS-232, P MOD, CAN or Ethernet.  Message and communication protocols can be customized for customer requirements. Local or remote monitoring I power system can be very beneficial beneficial to reduce installer or technician visits, and provide the ability to troubleshoot problems remotely without requiring professional personnel to travel to the customer site.   We are also well versed in SMBus communication and control for all levels of SMBus.  A very detailed explanation and description of our communication anf interface offerings can be found in the tools section.
